Dry Needling

Dry needling is the application of small, filiform needles used to treat muscular imbalances. Whether you are dealing with pain and stiffness resulting from an overactive, "tight" muscle, or are struggling to get a certain muscle (or group of muscles) to activate properly, dry needling—in conjunction with proper corrective exercises—is often used to restore proper muscle balance, tone, eliminate pain, and help you move and feel better.

Manual Therapy

Manual therapy is a specialized form of physical therapy that involves the use of the therapist's hands to manipulate and mobilize the soft tissues and joints of the body. It is often used to help reduce pain and improve mobility. Manual therapy techniques may include massage, stretches, and/or joint mobilization. These skilled techniques are intended to improve your function and can be used to treat a variety of conditions; including chronic pain, and mobility impairments.

IASTM

IASTM, or Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, is a type of manual therapy that involves the use of specialized tools to apply pressure and manipulate the soft tissues of the body. It is often used in physical therapy and rehabilitation to help reduce pain and improve mobility. IASTM techniques are thought to help break down scar tissue, improve blood flow, and stimulate the healing process. IASTM can be used to treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, including injuries, chronic pain, and mobility impairments.

Supportive taping

Supportive taping is a type of taping technique that is used in physical therapy and rehabilitation to provide support to injured muscles and joints. It involves the application of tape to specific areas of the body in order to reduce pain, improve stability, and promote healing. Supportive taping is often used in combination with other forms of therapy, such as exercises and manual therapy, to help improve muscle function and decrease the risk of injury.

Percussion massage

Percussion massage is a type of massage therapy that involves the rapid tapping or pounding of the muscles with a handheld device. It is often used in physical therapy and rehabilitation to help reduce muscle tension and improve circulation. Percussion massage is thought to work by increasing blood flow to the muscles and helping to break down scar tissue. BFR Training

BFRT, or Blood Flow Restriction Training, can be used as a type of rehabilitation technique that involves the use of a specialized device to apply pressure to the limbs during exercise. The pressure is intended to partially restrict blood flow to the muscles, which has been shown to help increase muscle strength and size without the need for high-intensity exercise. BFRT is safe, and is performed under the supervision of our qualified physical therapists, who will determine the appropriate level of pressure and exercise parameters that will benefit you.
